It is easy to install, but took me a while to get everything the way I wanted it - But I got there.
There are, however, some bugs with program access to either of the “Program Files” folders in Win 10 and some programs had a problem because I’d changed the default data get/send folders for all programs.
Also, some programs need to be installed on the root of C:\
If you get an error “link not valid” when running a program - you need to uninstall, create a temporary “Administrator” user to reinstall. Then check/correct entries in HKEY_CURRENT-USER\Software\ . .
I think it is prudent to install Classic Shell after you’ve installed all of your software - I did it first.
Although I dislike a cluttered C drive - I have a small SSD (250GB) devoted to the system (speeds things up) and separate drives for data, projects, etc . . . and, I don’t go to C: or see it’s content.
p.s. If you get a Western Digital SSD - you also get the free version of Acronis “True Image” - it’s great for making a backup of any of the drives - I swear by it.
Additional, you can get the “Classic Windows 7 Games” to install on 10 > Win 7 Games.
